Jo Pickard has presented globally for Taste Festivals for over 7 years now, she is a driven, personable and versatile presenter and a massive foodie.
2017 is looking like an incredible year already, Jo has recently shot a TV game show pilot and launched the new Basketball Leage out in Geneva. She also presents a monthly food channel which keeps her fully fueled!
Cheese glorious cheese took over at the end of last year and why not, what a gig hosting the live tv for The World Cheese Awards in San Sabastian.
Jo can be seen hosting the new property show on Sky, Property Hotspots with a second series coming soon.
Jo was honoured to spend the summer of last year in Rio, where she commentated for the Olympic and Paralympic Sailing events. She managed to squeeze inbetween hosting the main cookery theatre for Jamie Oliver’s Big Feastival and Woking Food festival interviewing some of the best chefs and foodie stars in the country.
2016 was equally split between sport and food, batting from Commentating for La Solitaire Bompard le Figaro on Cowes to presenting for Taste of London, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Jo spent 10 months circumnavigating the globe as the Official MC for the Volvo Ocean Race 2014/15. Hosting 11 international press conferences, dock interviews, live interviews for The Inside Track streaming worldwide and 9 Awards nights.
Since returning Jo joined Nick Moloney to co-commentate in Hamburg for the Extreme Sailing Series, broadcasting live online and also on numerous channels around the world. (ESPN 3 USA, Nautical Channel, Sky NZ to name a few).
She has hosted Oman Sail’s International press conference and Akzo Nobel’s first ever Facebook Live broadcast, plus recording a Cowes special for Women in Sport Podcast.
Over the last couple of years she has presented for Virgin Media at The Commonwealth Games up in Glasgow as well as Taste Of London, CISCO Live, The Balfour Beatty Youth Games after hosting the award winning Park Live Stage at the Olympic and Paralympic Games, London 2012 Jo has gone on to host at Chris Evan’s and Children in Need Carfest North and South, also working with some of the best chefs in the business presenting at numerous food festivals and via her blog.
