Mohamed Jamal Al Din (born November 6, 1977) is a Syrian chef, restaurateur and a part of Syrian culinary in UAE.
Mohamed specializes in Levant cuisine and contemporary Arabic cuisine, and he is leading the ABYAT restaurant in Palm Jumeirah .
Early life and career:
Mohamed was born and raised in Damascus the capital of Syria, his interest in cooking began at a young age with his father as his father was an Executive Chef of his own restaurant and quickly turned into a passion for food for him.
In 1994, Mohamed joined the Damascus Institute for Hospitality and Tourism and during that time worked in old traditional restaurants between Damascus and Aleppo while he was still studying.
Mohamed is currently the Head Chef at Abyat Restaurant and is serving Levantine in a modern way and giving a story to each dish.
