Introducing Funkcoolio, the latest addition to acclaimed chef Akmal Anuar’s portfolio of brands, which also includes multiple award-winning concepts like Michelin-accredited restaurants: 11 Woodfire, Goldfish, and Otoro. Funkcoolio promises to bring a one-of-a-kind ‘Itameshi’ experience to Dubai’s vibrant dining landscape.

Funkcoolio’s prime location at Port De La Mer offers breathtaking waterfront views, enhancing the dining experience within an interior that seamlessly blends chic sophistication with warmth.

At the heart of Funkcoolio is Itameshi, a harmonious marriage of Italian and Japanese flavours that captivates the palate. The menu will feature Japan’s freshest seafood and Italy’s best producers. Putting playful spins on otherwise traditional dishes is rooted in the restaurant’s DNA; must-tries include Arancini Nigiri and Koshihikari Risotto.

While unlicensed, Funkcoolio’s beverage menu features unique concoctions meticulously crafted to complement the culinary journey. From refreshing herbal infusions to innovative fruit blends, each drink is designed to enhance and elevate the dining experience.
