KIMPO

A modern Seoul-style bar, Kimpo brings the youthful, trendy, neon-lit face of Seoul to the UAE. Housed on the ground floor of Conrad Dubai, with its own entrance, Kimpo is a riot of graffiti- and pop art-style murals, juxtaposed against formica tables.

Kimpo is known for it’s ‘Brooklyn meets Seoul’ vibe, neon lights, and original K-pop artwork. The menu consists of Korean street food: expect Korean Fried Chicken, our Kimpo Signature Pizza with Salmon, and a delicious Korean Bao Bun. Opt for a healthier choice with the Kimpo-licious Poke Bowls or go for The Mango On a Stick for those that have a sweet tooth.

Chef Details

Born and raised in Greece, Ilias Doulamis brings more that 20 years of world-class culinary experience at the five-star Conrad Dubai since September 2021, leading the culinary teams across the hotel’s unique selection of F&B outlets. Chef Ilias, Culinary Director at Conrad Dubai and the Regional Chef for Arabian Peninsula at Hilton, heads award-winning restaurants including Kimpo, Ballaro’, Bliss 6, Isla, and Anása, as well the wide banquets facilities featuring outdoor gathering areas, 11 conference rooms, 3 boardrooms, and 2 grand ballrooms.

Trained through some of the finest kitchens in the world, Ilias has worked across eight countries demonstrating his insightful expertise in European Michelin-starred restaurants such as Restaurant le Meurice and L’Astrance in Paris, and Texture Restaurant in London.

He then joined ultra-luxury hospitality group Aman Resorts as a Head Chef in Greece and Indonesia, and has been in the Arabian peninsula for the last 10 years, working in Rosewood Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh, KSA. Prior to joining Conrad Dubai, he also worked in Grand Hyatt Muscat in Oman and Grand Hyatt Doha in Qatar.

Chef Ilias takes a hands-on approach and thrives in challenging environments working on sustainable projects such as onsite-hydroponic farming, implementing organic food, and waste management systems, working closely with local suppliers and purveyors as well promoting plant-based food innovation and nose-to-tail menus on all his restaurants.

ANÁSA

Anása is an authentic Greek restaurant on Level 6 at Conrad Dubai with a warm and friendly atmosphere within a magical urban oasis setting.

It delivers a Greek gastronomic experience that brings guests simple yet delicious food and unforgettable moments borrowed from the truly magical islands. Anása uses only fresh ingredients that are sourced and cooked with love and respect for Greek and Mediterranean cuisine.

The menu is created by our Greek Chef Ilias Doulamis, and it strikes the perfect balance of classic and creative flavour combinations, resulting in mouth-watering dishes that include meat, seafood, and vegetarian options. The passion for good food found at Anása is also driven by its passion to deliver the warmest, friendliest, and sincerest service.

Located by the pool at Conrad Dubai, Anása offers a relaxing and hospitable ambience, creating the perfect setting for gastronomic indulgences. Live music performances by Angela and the talented keyboardist, Iraklis, elevate your dining experience every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
